Madras College

While in Scotland volleyball is not one of the top sports many of our players come from countries where volleyball is one of the most popular team sports. We want to make use of this potential to promote volleyball at the grassroot level in the community of St Andrews.

Led by our head coaches Shelly and Colin Paterson, we offered a weekly taster session at Madras college for 12-14 year old.  For the next season we are working on a programme for primary schools to get children used to the touch of a volleyball even earlier. If you have experience coaching or are interested in gaining valuable coaching skills e-mail our volunteering officer Arielle at amb36@st-andrews.ac.uk.

SVO Zambia

Comprising of members from the St. Andrews Volleyball Club, Saints Volleyball Outreach Volunteers travel to Zambia each summer to work with children to develop their volleyball skills and to inspire leadership, teamwork, and personal development through sport.
