Volleyball is one of the most played team sports worldwide and has seen unprecedented growth on a competitive scale in the past few decades. This growth is also apparent in Scottish volleyball, as shown by its increasing popularity as a university sport.

The University of St Andrews Volleyball Club welcomes players of all skill levels: those with little experience but wishing to improve themselves, as well as players looking to compete at a top university level. We have developed into a very international and close-knit community, offering great opportunities and experiences both on and off the court.

The Club currently consists of three competitive teams: Women’s 1st (BUCS 1A, Scottish League), Men’s 1st (BUCS 1A, Scottish League), and Women’s 2nd (BUCS 2A, Scottish League). We also launched a Development Squad in the 2016/2017 season, which gives rising talents the chance to acquire and further their skills under the supervision of our experienced competitive players and coaches.
